To hear is to know that a sound came to you. hearとは、音が入って来たのがわかること。
To listen is to pay attention. 意識を傾けて聞く。
Right. We listen to someone by giving them our attention. そう。意識して人の話を聞くんだね。
今回のトピックは、「かたち」に関することばです。

Things that are built are typically large. buildされるものは、たいてい、大きなものを指す。
Yeah, to build is to construct something. そうね。buildするは、何かを建造すること。
