Vision
じぶんの力 × 人を助ける力の 共創をひらく
2012年、シリコンバレーにて創業。AI時代に先駆けて、共創メソッド特許（コンテクスト意味フィードバック、発話特徴の視覚化、静穏インターフェース、共感的応答、アフォーダンスデザインなど）を蓄積し、研究基盤を構築してきました。2018年からは日本での実践研究と事業開発を進め、Empatheme®を通じて、じぶんの力と人を助ける力が共創する学びの場をひらいています。
Purpose
〈認知の見える化〉でAIと共創する
日常の行動がスマホやPCの画面上で完結し、私たちの思考や認知のプロセスまでもがAIとのやりとりに組み込まれる時代になりました。便利さが加速する一方で、人が本来もつ自助力を発揮して自ら学ぶ、という機会は急速に失われつつあります。
本来、学びの中核である認知プロセスや、身体の内側で起こる微細な動き、日々のふるまいは目に見えず、その最たる例が【聞く・話す】という肉声のコミュニケーションです。ことばは、本質的に教わるものではなく、じぶん自身のプラクティスによって身につくものです。見えない認知や動きを捉えられなければ、学習者の成長も、エデュケーターの支援も、学びの研究も大きく制約されます。だからこそ、SomniQはそれらを〈鏡〉のように〈見える化〉し、練習や分析に使える単位へ〈カタチ化〉するしくみを開発してきました。これにより、内側の気づきを支え、人とAIが共に学ぶための新しい〈学びのインフラ〉が生まれます。

Overview
SomniQ is a Silicon Valley venture with research activities in the United States and Japan. For over 13 years, we have combined science and the liberal arts, putting humanity and technology at the core of our innovation. Founded in Menlo Park in 2012, SomniQ built a strong R&D foundation before the AI era, creating a portfolio of co-creative method patents—including context feedback, dynamic speech visualization, stationary-state interfaces, empathic response systems, and affordance design.
Technology and IP
Our principal technology is Empatheme🌀Interface®, a human–AI co-creative practice system built around our patented Hearing Mirror®, Rhythm Mirror®, and Context Mirror®. These tools are designed to visualize and nurture human practice.
Product and Service
In 2018, we began service development in Japan, bringing our technologies from research into real-world applications. This year, we launched English Ear° Trail—a platform that helps learners and educators build daily practice routines and experience English sounds and rhythm in new ways. Our products provide real-time and continuous feedback to encourage consistent, joyful learning.
