Dad, what do our lungs do?
They help us breathe in and out.
Oh, cool. What about our heart?
It beats and sends blood all around our body.
How about our stomach? What does it do?
It breaks down the food we eat
So, it’s like a mixer? And the liver?
Liver cleans the blood. Keeps us healthy.
What does the brain do? That’s important, right?
It helps us think, feel, and learn.
And our cells? What do they do?
They all work together to keep us going.
ねぇパパ、肺って何をするところ？
肺のおかげで呼吸しているよ。
なるほど。じゃ、心臓は？
ドキドキして身体中に血を送っているんだ。
じゃ、胃は何をしている？
食べたものを細かくするところ。
ふーん、ミキサーみたいに？それから、肝臓は？
肝臓は血をきれいにするところ。おかげで健康でいられる。
脳は何をしているの？脳って大事でしょ？
脳があるから、考えたり、感じたり、学んだりできる。
じゃ細胞は？どんな仕事しているの？
みんな一緒に働いているおかげで、人間は生きられるんだよ。
